After spending a week in London, my husband and I headed for St. Pancras Train Station, booked first class tickets and took the train up to Bedfordshire. The 40-minute train journey afforded me the opportunity to see the beautiful English countryside with its green fields and meadows. It's nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and be able to relax in the country bonding with Charles' family.
I decided to wear classic pieces on this lovely Autumnal day.
We took these pictures right before heading into town where we spent the day shopping with Charles' Mum. The drive was a pleasant experience as the scenery was so green and lush.
I am in love with the geometric print of this dress (similar here.) The black and white combination as well as the three-quarter sleeves make the dress look extra chic.
I'm wearing the L.K. Bennett suede boots that I got during a shopping excursion over at Selfridges in London. Although they're a bit pricey, I'm still pleased about this purchase because it's such a classic pair and it's difficult to find good quality boots in Cebu. I love that they're suede, have a platform, a decent heel height, and they fit like a glove. Plus, they're really comfortable! I walked in them for 4 straight hours while shopping and my feet didn't hurt at all!

We had lunch in Carluccio's, a chain of authentic Italian restaurants with integrated food shops. It serves light, Italian-based breakfasts, pasta, side dishes and salads. They even had a cute pink Vespa inside the shop! :)
