A Preview of Plains & Prints' Holiday 2012 Collections

Last week, I was invited to the Preview of Plains & Prints’ Holiday 2012 collections at their Ayala Center Cebu branch. The brand’s Creative Director, Rhett Eala, graced the event and shared his thoughts and inspiration behind the collections.
Joyce Fernan, Rhett Eala and Connie Crisostomo of Plains & Prints

It was really a pleasure to finally meet and chat with the designer behind the brand.

Check out the different collections as well as my favorite pieces below:

City Series-Manila, the highlight of the Holiday 2012 anthology, consists of pieces reminiscent of the beautiful  metropolis of Manila through modified cityscape graphic prints.

The China collection embodies Eastern influences through elegant designs with an urban twist. I love the color palette and the cuts of the clothes.

The Japan collection conveys oriental sophistication and feminine grace. Elements associated with Japanese culture such as origami and floral designs are evident in this anthology.

DNM 24/7 offers versatile pieces that are easy to mix and match. The designs are laid-back, sporty and perfect for casual weekends.

The collection, Workwear II, makes women exude class and confidence through tailored and contemporary pieces. These clothes definitely prove that corporate attire doesn't have to be boring. You can be chic and stylish in the office as well.

Modern Art presents colorful separates inspired by pop-art and the modernist movement of the early seventies. I really love these two pieces for their classic silhouettes and wonderful color combination.

The Holiday Dresses collection showcases beautiful dresses perfect for parties and soirées this season.

So if you're looking for a fabulous Holiday outfit, head to your nearest Plains & Prints branch now! From classic shift dresses to chic printed separates, you have lots of stylish options to choose from.
