Hi, loves! I'm currently back in England and I'm having such a wonderful time. London was one of the stops during my honeymoon trip last year so it's great to be here once again.

I was able to visit most of the top attractions back in September 2012 so this time around, it was nice to just relax and not have a jam-packed schedule. I was able to soak in the city in a leisurely manner and catch up with my husband's closest pals and family.

For this outfit, I went back to basics and selected 5 key items: a leather jacket (a great find from Portobello Market,) a white shirt, a structured bag, blue jeans and black ankle boots.

One of the first things on my to-do list upon arriving in London was to find proper shoes for Winter. I took with me my LK Bennett suede knee-high boots, black platform pumps as well as my black and beige ballet flats. Because it's 4˚C in London, 4-inch heels and flats just would not do. I needed comfortable footwear that's safe to walk in when it's raining and/or snowing so I headed for Oxford Street and began shoe shopping. I had a couple of options to choose from but finally decided on these suede ankle boots from New Look. I love how they're incredibly comfortable and that they match all the clothes I brought on this trip.

Before I end this post, I just want to send all my love to my husband. Exactly a year ago today, we took our vows and became Mr & Mrs Martin. Happy first wedding anniversary, honey!
