Hi, loves! Hope you all had a great Halloween. As for me, I've always loved vintage fashion so channeling my inner Daisy Buchanan in The Great Gatsby was definitely a fun experience. Although gothic looks aren't really my style, I still had an amazing time dressing up as Wednesday Addams. Thought I'd spice things up on the blog a bit and wear something beyond my comfort zone. Can't wait for next year! :)
Anyway, I just got back from my trip to Boracay. My husband and I celebrated his birthday there last week and we truly enjoyed the Sun, Sand and Sea. If you're going to Boracay or visiting a tropical destination anytime soon and in need of beach outfit ideas, here are the looks that I wore:
Marquise denim top, Chicnova denim skirt, Parisian beach bag, Ray-Ban aviators
I wanted to be comfortable while exploring the island so I chose this laid-back denim on denim ensemble. I placed all my beach essentials (sunscreen, lip balm, magazine and a straw hat) in this blue striped bag.
Our lovely home during the trip, Boracay Regency Resort and Spa.
Coco Cabana red stripe knit dress and Guess belt
On our second day, I opted for nautical stripes and wore this red and white knit dress.
Nautilus top and Lee denim cut-offs
Kept it simple and casual in a white quarter-sleeve top and denim cut-off shorts.
One of things we looked forward to everyday was watching the sunset on the beach. I mean look at how gorgeous the colours are! Just so you guys know, I took this photo using my phone without any filters.
H&M maxi dress, Guess belt and Oleg Cassini clutch
This is what I wore to my husband's birthday dinner at the wonderful Italian Restaurant, Rima, located within Shangri-La's Boracay Resort & Spa. The restaurant is nestled at the top of the cliff with commanding views over the ocean and the resort below. I recommend having pre-dinner cocktails at their Sunset Bar, Solana. It's the perfect place to lounge, have drinks and watch the sun disappear over the horizon.
