Collective Beauty Haul

Hi, loves! Today I'm sharing a beauty haul. I know I don't usually do these kind of posts on my blog but since it's a new year, I thought I'd spice things up and introduce new content. In the last couple of weeks, I've accumulated a ton of beauty stuff because a.) I don't like to keep products for long periods of time and b.) I was starting to run out of some of my make-up essentials.

Eye Products: Etude House Color My Brows #2, ELF Eyelid Primer (Sheer,) Maybelline Rocket Mascara

I wanted to get the Girl Boy brow set from MAC but sadly they didn't have available stocks when I went to Rustan's. I decided to try a similar tinted brow gel from Etude House, Color My Brows. I've been hearing lots of good feedback about this product so I was excited to use it. In hindsight, I really should have purchased the #2 shade but bought #4 by mistake (the SA's fault.) I also bought the sheer Eyelid Primer from ELF and the Rocket Mascara from Maybelline. For years I've been using their Great Lash mascara but opted for this new one after seeing so many great reviews on YouTube.

Facial Products: Revlon ColorStay Foundation (300 Golden Beige,) BYS Concealer Duo (Medium) and Cover Girl & Olay Eye Corrector

For about a year and a half, I've been using the cream foundation from James Cooper. Although I still have a lot of product left, I decided to get myself a new foundation as I don't like using stuff beyond their recommended shelf life. I bought the Revlon ColorStay Foundation a few weeks ago and so far I'm really liking it. The Cover Girl with Olay Eye Corrector is also another favorite of mine. I can't stress enough how amazing this product is that's why I was so shocked to learn that it's been discontinued in the States. For my Philippine readers who wish to try this, you can pick it up from the Cover Girl counter in Watsons. I'm highly impressed with the first two items but this last one was a huge mistake. The concealer duo from BYS is so difficult to blend, looks cakey on me and doesn't really offer coverage. Looks like this one's going straight to the bin. :(

Powders: Ben Nye Banana Powder, Rimmel Stay Matte Powder (Silky Beige) and Wet N Wild Mega Glo Illuminating Powder (Catwalk Pink)

I received the Ben Nye Banana Luxury Powder as a stocking stuffer for Christmas last year. I absolutely love this product but my only problem is the packaging. Because it comes in a shaker bottle, it can be a bit messy when I pour the powder. Also it's quite bulky (I have the 3 oz. bottle) and takes up a lot of space in my make-up bag. So I bought this travel-sized powder container and now it's easier to use and it fits nicely in my bag. Another product that I recently picked up and absolutely love is the Rimmel Stay Matte powder. It keeps my face free from oil and I don't even need to touch up my make-up anymore. Lastly, I bought the Mega Glo Illuminating Powder in Catwalk Pink from Wet N Wild. The colors are so gorgeous and I cannot wait to start using this.

Lip Products: Prestige Lip Gloss, BYS Cherry Black lipstick, James Cooper Kiss Proof Lip Gloss (LKP-05) and Ever Bilena Lip Liners in Orange and Deep Pink

This clear lip gloss from Prestige is a staple and I've been repurchasing this from Beauty Bar. I love rocking a dark lip from time to time and this BYS Cherry Black lipstick is just perfect. The color kind of reminds of the dark berry lips Lorde has been sporting recently. This Kiss Proof Lip Gloss from James Cooper is great for those who want lip products that last throughout the day. They have other colors but I chose this brown hue. These two lip liners are actually from a local brand, Ever Bilena. I know a lot of people don't really patronize local make-up products but OMG I cannot believe how pigmented and how crazy good these lip liners are! Plus, they're very inexpensive!

Miscellaneous Products: Real Techniques Core Collection Brush Set, Aqua Massage Facial Cleansing Sponges, Nivea Daily Face Fluid

I also got the Real Techniques Core Collection set as a Christmas gift and I am so happy I have these brushes. Everyone's been telling me that they're just as good as the Sigma ones! The only annoying thing about them is that their rubber handles get dirty easily. You guys might want to be careful so you don't spill foundation or any other liquid product on it. To help completely remove my make-up, I purchased these Aqua Massage Facial Cleansing Sponges. I haven't used them yet so will let you guys know how I think about them soon. The final product in my beauty haul is the Nivea Daily Face Fluid. I've been on the look out for sunscreen that's not sticky and will not leave a white cast on my face so I hope this one will not disappoint.

If you've tried any of these products, please let me know what you think about them. I'd love to hear your comments and reviews. Also, please do share your recent make-up buys and staple products. :)

@D Perez: Bought it from a bazaar here in Cebu! Try to check Zalora if they have it in stock. :-)
