Plains & Prints Spring/ Summer 2014

Plains & Prints recently released its much-awaited Spring/ Summer 2014 Collection in collaboration with one of the country’s most famous designers, Rhett Eala. This season’s designs take inspiration from various tropical elements and artistic moods that embody the fun loving yet smart and sophisticated look of the brand.

The brand has also partnered with Filipina-Australian actress, fashion icon and recent brand endorser, Anne Curtis. Her personality and lifestyle reflects what the work-wear brand stands for – fresh and fashionable.

Water Collection
Inspired by the element, water, these items are perfect for casual dressing this Spring/ Summer season. Feminine silhouettes and modern aquatic prints in different shades of yellow, lilac and blue are the highlights of this collection.

Air Collection
For this collection, they took inspiration from birds and feathers to create fun and tropical looks that are great to wear on hot summer days. The colors that they chose were periwinkle, royal blue, navy, pink, khaki and touches of washed out neon orange.

Domestic Bliss
This collection features classic 50's-inspired pieces that are staples in every woman's wardrobe. Bold tropical hues such as green, yellow, orange, peach and blush were combined with rich decorative prints.

Art Nouveau
To celebrate the summer season, they took inspiration from the architectural details during the 1920's and translated them into mod-inspired designs. Primary colors such as royal blue and green accented with black and white constitute this collection.

Saint Tropez
This collection combines the glamour of a Parisian cruise get-away and the classic vibe of traditional nautical stripes. These designs were infused with red, white and blue utilizing easy and breezy fabrics.
