Off-Shoulder Top + Cropped Trousers

An off-shoulder top worn with cropped trousers is still one of my favourite outfit combos and have relied on this pairing on days when I feel like I have nothing to wear.

Despite already having a burgeoning collection of off-shoulder tops and dresses, I still find myself drawn to this shoulder-baring style when I'm out shopping. I picked up a few while in LA and will be sharing styling options on the blog soon.

This ribbed black version, an old purchase from Zara, has proven to be quite versatile and has worked with everything from feminine eyelet skirts to distressed high-rise jeans.

For this look, I teamed the top with mustard wide-leg trousers, a summer hat and my trusty nude block heels.

Normally, I stay away from non-petite friendly, ultra loose silhouettes (baggy bottoms tend to dwarf me) but I love that this cropped length works to my advantage.

What is your go-to outfit combo? :)
