London Fashion Week Look 1: Checkmate

Still buzzing from all the festivities at London Fashion Week and one of the highlights was attending the Tommy Hilfiger Fall 2017 fashion show. Read on below for details on what I wore to the unveiling of Tommy x Gigi Season 3.
For this outfit, I incorporated two trends that I've been seeing everywhere this Autumn season: Heritage checks and white Scandi-inspired boots.

I’ve always liked wearing blazers but this Prince of Wales pattern is a nice change from the usual solid coloured suit jackets that I go for. I love that it's slightly oversized, has a boxy fit and a longer hem.

I paired the checked blazer with two basics: a ribbed polo neck from And Other Stories (previously worn here) and cropped flares from New Look.

Of the many shoe options on the high street right now (including a range of super trendy sock boots from Mango,) I thought this patent white pair from Zara was the perfect choice. I have worn them back-to-back at LFW so I hope you guys won't get tired of seeing them on the blog.

I pulled the look together with the Vere satchel from Anya Hindmarch's A/W 2017 collection. I really wanted to get the nubuck version (just look at how gorgeous this rust colour is!) but I thought the material was just too delicate and I'm not one to baby my bags. So in the end, I went for calf leather as it's more durable, low maintenance and will go with pretty much everything.

Thank you for dropping by! More of my LFW outfits in the coming posts! Happy weekend! :)
