London Fashion Week Look 2: Colour Story

Go bright or go home.
Colour blocking with bold crayola hues for Day 2 of London Fashion Week Festival.

Muted earthy tones are staples for the colder months but I thought I'd do the opposite and team two primaries to combat London's speedy slip into Autumn.

Originally, I wanted to do a tonal look and pair the skirt with a navy turtleneck. But seeing as I always go for a monochromatic outfit, I selected a brighter colour instead for a bit of variety. This mustard jumper was an old purchase from last year and helps keep the ensemble from looking dull.

I've been obsessing about white shoes lately (these white mules have literally made an appearance on five style posts last Summer,) so obviously, I went with a white A/W option for this look.

These patent boots from Zara are probably one of the most versatile trend-driven shoes I have ever owned and are surprisingly very comfortable. I have worn them with a pair of jeans and a checked blazer for a suited look and plan on teaming them with a floral maxi for a Scandinavian take on transitional dressing.
